5 New and Cool Email Marketing Features In HubSpot

HubSpot recently upgraded its email and contact management system and the more I work with it the more excited I get. In the past two blogs I’ve been going over things like setting up an e-mail template and editing the email. As every inbound and email marketer knows, the real value is getting good email marketing reporting or good campaign statistics. Even though HubSpot has done a good job of keeping and tracking inbound statistics in the past I just had never been that impressed with the reports and statistics from my email campaigns. I usually got good results from an email nurturing campaign but when I sent out a mass email or a newsletter the stats such as open rates and click throughs just seemed to be lacking. Not anymore.

In Monday’s blog I started to tell you about some of the improvements HubSpot has made to its email program that I really, really like. The trouble is that there are so many cool new features that I barely got through three of them in my last blog. One area where HubSpot has made some major improvements is in its email editor and templates. A lot of email programs have had a large variety of email templates. HubSpot has finally caught up. Not only does it give you a lot of choices for layout once you’ve input your basic company information like your logo, address, and primary domain, you don’t have to worry about doing it again. Just pick the template you want and start making your e-mail. If you really like to get deep in the HTML code and tweak this or that HubSpot provides an editor to do just that.

For those of you familiar with this blog and our company you know that Image Media Partners is an inbound marketing agency and that our preferred inbound marketing tool is HubSpot. We’ve been using it for about two years and even though there are plenty of very successful inbound marketers doing a great job without HubSpot, it is the platform I prefer to use. That is one of the reasons I’m so excited about recent updates HubSpot has made in its email program. I don’t want to go through a step-by-step description of the new e-mail platform; there are just too many features. I’ve written about email marketing in the past and do not want to get into “How to” do something here.
